Print Production Processes

Surface Print

Technical

Surface printing is usually on a mono-layer film whereby the product does not require significantly high barrier for the product that is packed. Surface printing is also done as an overprint lacquer to provide a matt-effect or a spot varnish etc. Surface printing is usually done on BOPP films that can seal to itself and doesn’t require an additional sealant layer, on PVC twist films for confectioneries and on paper for chewing gum wrappers.
